Food was pretty good. Enjoyed the crab fries. I ordered the salmon sandwich. It was a large piece of salmon on a brioche bun. I didn't love the sauce on the sandwich, it was just ok. I would come back to try other menu items. The Nachos are definitely shareable.

I didn't have that high of hopes during my visit but, was still disappointed to find many outdated games, along with an unkempt & outdated interior. The overall cleanliness of the entire place was lacking. The bathrooms smelled like they were backing up. Many of the slot chairs were ripped, or in other states of disrepair. I played a slot machine that smelled like dirty feet...How does that even happen? The one positive was my interaction with the ladies working at the cage. They were doing their best and still smiling, despite having to deal with unpleasant customer interactions.

Our first visit was also our last. The casino isn't especially large, the escalators were all filthy, most of the slot chairs have peeling fake leather on them, and without exaggerating, it seemed like close to a quarter of the machines were broken. Every bank had machines that were off or otherwise out of service. Progressive meters on some of the machines were displaying error codes, and shockingly one IGT S2000 machine with a malfunctioning progressive meter was still in service.

They need to hire a few slot technicians to fix the machines, and would it hurt to clean the escalators and replace the chairs? This is basic building maintenance, folks.

They call it the boat. I’ve been there a couple times I still ain’t seen no boat. But it’s very nice place. Very quiet very clean. I would come back again. That’s the plan.

The smell is off putting. For it to be "newly renovated" it smells like they used the original carpet

Edit: This place is absolutely ghetto. People begging when you win. Making people toss unopened bottles of water in 90 degrees when you have to get up in order to get water because they have one overworked waitress. There are better casinos in the area....

I guess this is supposed to be an example of good modern or post-modern architecture. Calling it an eye sore would be a compliment. If this is a boat, it must be modeled after the Titanic. I found it to be unimpressive and uninviting for a casino. It only gets worse from there as you enter you are greeted with an open area that has a vertigo inducing splash of pyschedelic colors that make you think Bob Ross went on a four day meth and cocaine bender and vomited out the decor, and they left it that way. Since gouging my eyes out wasn't an option, we went in and did casino stuff. Other than that, it's a casino.

Bally's gives the best free play in Kansas City and I have won quite a few jackpots here , Texas tea in the high limited area pays off often , I recommend Bally's casino over any other casino in Kansas City hands down , they have a huge selection of different games , they have a lot of promotions at least 2 days a week they have drawings they give away gifts almost every day , for superstar players they provide a free 3 course meal at the celebrity diner , and monthly food comps for chick and Pete's , amazing food at the snack bar , and free play every single day !! Foreal they go above and beyond my expectations and the location is really cool , and easy to get to !!
