It was okay. Would have been much better without the cigarette smoke. The area is safe and clean outside. There's a nice bar as well.

This venue smells like a giant ashtray. It stinks so bad, I had to leave. There is NO gambling area for non-smokers. Wanted to see a band in casino (that they say is non-smoking); but you have to stand in stinking barroom to get in line. What asshole paid someone to design a shed where everyone smokes cigarettes and there is no escape for non-smokers. The restaurants are connected to smoke filled buildings.
P.S. no one was in line at their $60 per person buffet.

The boat was more exciting and offered more entertainment. Each floor was a different experience. Now it just a Kmart of gambling. The new land based casino was disappointing. I wouldn't go back if they offered me a free cheeseburger. Security at front door acting like I was gonna rob the place. I did recognize one pit boss from the old boat but I wouldnt expect him to remember me. It might as well be a truck stop.

If you're in it to win...then win again...and again...then omg! AGAIN! Cause I was invincible...then lose, lose, lose (turns out I wasn't invincible)...win some of it back again then lose most of it one more time...and finally, just in time to realize that you will now have to take the 2 hour bus ride back to the city that just left and you'll have to wait another 55 minutes for... just out side the casino that you're just dying to go back into to spin spin spin again until you win back just a little bit more than you had when you walked in? Then you'll love the new Treasure Chest Casino! Seriously, I had a great time...young virile hotties (I mean...), mixed in with the geriatric pensioners parlaying their monthly stipends into a little bit more than what they had when they walked in...

Big disappointment. It is an all smoking facility now. The ventilation isn't good. Hardly any handicap parking. I counted 8 spots but when looking at the license plates, a lot of vehicles had handicap tags. We had to park in a regular spot and no valet parking either. Slot choices are poor too. If you like the old school reel type, good luck finding one. Broken soap dispensers in the bathroom already. The attendant told me that she reported it days ago. First & last visit for us.

Was disappointed in our experience. It's new and pretty, majority of staff we interacted with was pleasant, machines were DEFINITELY set to not payout. No promos for new people not even a birthday promo for going on my birthday. The smoke is RIDICULOUS!! Felt like I needed an oxygen to be able to breathe. Won't be back. I'm sticking with Beachview Casino in Mississippi.

Three weeks ago, I took a special trip to see the new land-based Treasure Chest Casino because it has been a number of years since I've played or eaten there at their buffet. Well, the environment looked very spacious but quite different than on the boat. I can say that I like the new version. However, what I don't like is the fact that the buffet is no longer available. Urgh-h-h! I was highly disappointed about this. I wish they would decide to bring back the buffet.
In closing, if you can live with the concept that there's no longer a buffet, then you will be pleased with the new changes. However, if you are a non-smoker, you may want to bring a mask because smoking is allowed everywhere on the casino floor.
