This place is small, but efficient and well stocked. My friend usually brings me here when she needs to refill her weed pen carts. There are two atms inside as it is cash only and there’s a podium outside with one of their employees to check everyone in with their ID. I perused their shelves and they have a great variety of products. And everything is reasonably priced with pre rolls as little as $3. Definitely check them out for all your THC and CBD needs!

Shout out to Erica, I was in a rush & stopped by there for the first time on my way to a ski trip. I only had a certain amount of cash pulled out & needed a set-up for the slopes. I didn’t really know what I wanted, I just knew that I needed something convenient to use on the lifts. She put together an immaculate kit with everything I would need, in record time btw, but I came up just a bit short on cash.

Erica got me some discounts & knocked the price down quite a bit, AND then threw in a battery for the pens completely free, which actually blew my mind tbh. She didn’t have to do that at all, but she did it enthusiastically out of the kindness of her heart💜 Just a beautiful person, inside & out! Sometimes it’s those little bits of kindness that can brighten your day, & she certainly guaranteed that Slo Cal roots has become my new go-to #1 spot in the future. Thanks for keeping the stoke high for me on my way to the powder.

Mildly outrageous how the lady with the appropriated dreadlocks handled what should have been a simple exchange of a defective battery. Maybe don’t pee on folks’ legs and tell them it’s raining, ya goofball. Anyways, two stars because a fellow customer had a cute doggie that was fun to pet.

I’ve been here a few times and have never run into any problems. The workers are very attentive and ask you questions to help you find what you are looking for. They have friendly staff and good prices.

They need some kind of # system at the Grover Beach store. I sit and wait my turn and the next person is always helped before me. It's happened 3 times now and I finally speak up and hear I'll help you next. But I was clearly before that person. So no that person should be helped after me. You need a different system other than honesty because clearly that doesn't work in this day and age.

Super cool shop. I am usually stressed at the dispo trying to digest what’s in the counter with an employee hovering over me but that wasn’t the case at all here. Will definitely be back.
