Nice for a smaller casino.
They have a Starbucks before the security gate where under 21 can go, no entry under 21 of course.. Coffee cafe and Johnnys were open, we went 8-11 pm on a Tuesday and it wasn’t crowded at all, many open tables.and plenty of video slots.
Don’t wait for any drinks to come around while on a slot machine, not present even for pay orders.
They have an area to smoke away from all non smokers.

Nice casino. Lots of different slots and plenty of tables to play at. I always have a slice of pizza when I'm there - delicious! They have a few restaurants and bakery cases. I would love to stay overnight sometime and see how the rooms are.

A lackluster casino with no real incentive to visit except live table games. The hotel is not a resort and has no real premium features. No pool, spa, lounge, or cafe. There is a Starbucks that doesn’t do well. The event center is a big open room but don’t book your wedding or event here. The bars don’t offer food so you are forced to leave your place if you get hungry, and on weekends it can be hard to get a seat at the bar.

This place is an absolute joke. If you’re 21 or look young, don’t waste your time because they’ll refuse you entry even if you have a completely valid ID. I was visiting a friend and decided to stop by to play poker. At the entrance, my buddy (also 21) and I presented our IDs—both from Florida. He got in without an issue, but as soon as they looked at mine, the security guard (bald guy, tall, glasses) decided to go on a power trip. He was rude, dismissive, and completely entitled, grilling me with questions that I answered without hesitation.

Despite my ID scanning as valid, he arbitrarily decided I wasn’t allowed in. I escalated the situation to a manager, expecting some professionalism—big mistake. The first manager didn’t even bother listening, and when another one came, he repeated the same nonsense, claiming they “weren’t comfortable” letting me play. No explanation. No reasoning. Just flat-out refusal, even though I had all the proof they could possibly need.

The kicker? My buddy had the exact same type of ID as me. Our birthdays are literally a week apart. When I pointed this out and asked why he got in without a single question while I was denied, the manager scrambled for an excuse and claimed, “It’s so recent that you’re a risk for us to allow to play.” But somehow, my friend—who is also 21 and only a week older—wasn’t a “risk”? Make it make sense.

This place clearly has no set standard and operates on random, inconsistent decisions. The staff is completely unhelpful, and the security guard was clearly enjoying his little power trip, making the experience even more frustrating and uncomfortable. If you’re young, don’t even bother coming here—they’ll treat you like a criminal for no reason. Absolute garbage customer service.

This casino/resort is gorgeous and seems like brand new. Super clean the lobby, and check-in was a breeze. Rooms we got facing the river with 2 queens are beautiful, spacy and so fresh. Starbucks just opened and is a bonus. Slot machines are plenty and there large variety of table games. We won a good chunk. It's definitely worth a visit!

There is nothing spectacular about Rivers Casino, except that it is the only Casino in the area. It has everything you would expect a casino to have. Slot machines, blackjack tables, poker and they have high rollers slot machines and a high rollers room in the back. They also have live music every evening with a full bar. There's also a cafeteria style restaurant, where you can get hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. I don't go there very often, because I don't gamble. But sometimes I will go to listen to the live music and in warmer weather, they have outdoor music events with more popular musicians. But, if you like to gamble, Rivers has all the high-tech slot machines that anyone would want.

Country Weekends they have once a month at the bar is so much fun!!!!!! Awesome live band - we saw big sky country, DJ and a great time with friends, we jumped in and did line dancing! What a cool experience everyone should check out… 🙂

We were getting our car serviced at Mohawk Honda and they offered to take us to River Casino since it was going to be about 4 hours. We didn’t know about River Casino. As long time Atlantic City goers this was a pleasant surprise. Upon getting dropped off we did a walk starting on the Bike Trail along the Mohawk River before entering the Casino.

My wife got a player card and played some video poker. I walked around checking out the rest of the casino as she played. It’s a nice looking casino with a few places to eat and lots of machines to play at. We plan to go back and do an overnight trip so we can check out the hotel and other amenities.

Overall River Casino has a good vibe and a nice look. It’s well worth a visit if you like casinos.
