Had our Christmas party there in the Grand Ball Room. The room was decorated nicely and the food was good. Especially the salad, vegetables and cheesecake. The meats left a little to be desired. In my opinion, they were slightly overcooked and a little tough. Didn't stay overnight, that is why I didn't rate the rooms. If they are as nice as the banquet hall, then I'm sure they are pretty nice. Definitely want to go back and check out the casino portion and rooms in the near future.

Watch the money you put into the machines! Several machines took our $100 bills but did not record as credit on slot machine. I initially thought it was a “one off” occurrence but several people in our party had it happen to them.
Very poor customer service for even “high rollers”
If you hit $1200 or more on any machine, it locks up. Then you have to wait (extended times) to have someone come over and issue you a “stub”
Then another person comes over to get your “physical drivers license” and needs social security # so they can tax you. Then a 3rd person comes over and counts out your money!
So you are better off going to slot machines in bars and restaurants where slots pay out better, your winnings are unlimited and you can get cash on the spot with no hassle.

We were in Peoria for a work contract.

Casino: Probably the best table game dealers outside of mainstream casino cities (Vegas ect). One of the biggest issues I have with most casinos outside of Vegas is that the table games normally are only staffed during peak hours. They keep the tables staffed here; at least every time I went I was able to play Craps. The craps dealers are awesome. They’re attentive and also friendly. I am going to miss playing at the craps. To management, please please please give your craps dealers a pat on the back. Bad dealers would immediately make me not come back; but your dealers are awesome and it made me want to keep coming back.
Food: Tin Lizard is great. Really modern and clean. The food is unique but still a twist on traditional bar food. Shockingly reasonable drink prices. Staff is great. We loved the Sara’s; they really know their customers and the reason we keep coming back.
William B’s: I hate to be a negative Nancy, but William B’s is lacking. They’re always short staffed. There’s always a woman there in her late 40s working her tail off trying to take care of half the floor - I always feel bad. The food is pretty decent but honestly not worth the price. The food is better at Tin Lizard, which is weird because Tin Lizard is a bar. If you’re looking for a better sit down dining experience, there are better places in Peoria (Black Barrel, Thyme, Holiday In Steak House ).

Hotel: It’s nice and clean. Nothing crazy about it. Pretty standard hotel that is modern and clean. Staff is always friendly.

Beautifully renovated hotel. We were honestly a little concerned when we first pulled up. There’s not much curb appeal and a little bit of riff raft in the parking lot. The hotel lobby and rooms exceeded my expectations and we had a beautiful view of the water and fall colored trees. Perfect weekend get away!

The hotel was nice. I miss the piano in the lobby. The beds are okay. They're not uncomfortable. Room temp is good. Not humid. The hotel itself is decent. I haven't seen the bar in the lobby open since covid, which is a big bummer. It would be nice if food was offered at the hotel. Reopening the bar with apps would be nice. The location of the property is not walking distance to anything, really. The gas station across the street is not selling ANY alcohol. The casino was not as fun this time. There are fewer machines, and the ones they have seem old. For a Sunday night it was disappointing. We are usually able to play for a couple of hours on 40$. Not expecting to win a bunch, but I did expect to last longer than an hour on 60$. We will probably take a break from the Par-A-Dice for a while.

As casinos go it's pretty standard. The restaurant had delicious fish and chips. Cold beer and great Cole slaw. The casino was a little close with machines and people. Not a lot of room in some places. I would go back if I was already in the area.

The rooms in the hotel were very nice. The food was good. I perfect a place where the hotel and casino are attached. Buy this was very nice for not having that. They had a shuttle to take you back and forth between the two, and the drivers were verynice. And very knowledgeable regarding area.

Hotel is like most mid-west casinos. Starting to show age. Rooms are neat and clean. There's a shuttle to the casino. But, it's an easy short walk too. 3 levels of various gaming.
