Why a 5? You have to embrace places like these that are so rare. They're going away for various reasons. I was sad when they took the horse racing wagering out. We need to support responsible racing or it will be gone too. Oceans is what it is. Its an outlet for me to play poker which I enjoy. It serves a purpose as an escape and its like walking in the Cheers bar. Community. Good food. A few smiles and hope. I hope you leave with a dollar more than you went in with, a good story, and/or a memory to hold onto.

This is my favorite card room in Southern California. The people that work here are very nice and the players are less nasty than those I encounter in the LA cardrooms. They have very affordable daily tournaments that are a great value.

It's ok I guess. It's very plain on the inside. I walked out with more money then when I went in, that's always a plus. I was confused on how to order food. It takes a couple times to get familiar with things there. I don't like to ask a lot of questions. I learn most things through observation, so maybe I just should've asked more questions while I was there.

This is the best poker room and card house in San Diego. The staff is amazing, the regulars are good people to play with. Whether it’s the daily tournaments, or cash games for poker you’re gonna have a good time.

Food and drinks are fairly priced with good variety.

Looked like it was just blackjack and poker. Interesting atmosphere, definitely not like a Vegas casino. It felt very safe and chill vibes. Unfortunately BJ pays 6/5 instead of 3/2… Closest spot to Orange County for blackjack as far as I know

Back open for poket and table games. Poker tables seating 9 players. Monday night there were 7 tables playing with short lists for most. Remodel looks good and brings the place up to date. I applaud them for jumping on the remodel during the shutdown. A nice fresh look.

Still a great place to play poker. They keep it updated, clean, and fun. The bar is my favorite.
