Hollywood Casino in Greektown is decent casino. They have decent slot machines, video blackjack and poker games. I didn't like their parking garage structure or security. I twice was waiting for cars to back out of their parking spot and twice other drivers took spots when I tried to drive into parking space to park my car. No security to report the drivers. My friend are my witnesses of this happening.

I stayed there for a work event for two nights.Came an extra day early as I had to set up for our work party. The night of check in ,the guest in the room next to us were screaming and fighting from 8pm until 8am in the morning. After calling security 3 times and hearing the lady screaming for help ,and sounds of physical disturbance, they were finally removed at 8am. I can’t believe it took 3 calls to do something. I was concerned for my safety and others.Someone could have been seriously hurt. The next day the heat went out and there was no heat in the room ,not even when we were leaving. Some coworkers staying in the hotel that night expressed their room was 85 degrees however ours was 59 degrees. Due to a terrible experience, the manager said they would comp our whole stay. When checking out at the front desk , they verified my card would not be charged ,yet it was not honored and charged me days later. I have called customer service multiple times ,and no one will return my call. They say they will talk to a supervisor and call me back. Very disappointed in this experience .

I haven't been here in a while and as soon as I stepped foot inside the Casino, I remembered why. The smoke was killing me. My eyes and nose were burning. They have a tiny smoke free section. They do a really good job of keeping smoke out of this area, however it is so small and very few games. So you are forced to go back out to the main floor and choke on the smoke. It's competitors, Motorcity and MGM does not have this problem. They have a very welcoming atmosphere. Think twice if you are sensitive to smoke.

This email is in regards to our recent stay for the Detroit auto show charity event. This was our first stay at your casino, as we normally stay at  MGM Hotel/Casino. We were very perplexed that we had absolutely no way to shower without hot or even warm water.
I contacted guest services asking about the situation and was told the boiler was down and to wait 30 minutes, still no hot water. I was then told we were sorry, they’re still working on the boiler, and they could credit my bill $25 and not charge me for the late checkout.  I do understand things happen beyond our control. My concern is with the response and how this was handled as your patron.
First, let me explain that I did not need a late checkout however, waiting for hot water led me to stay over.  I explained my reasoning for not checking out on time and was told they would let housekeeping know not to bother me again due to the circumstances and would go ahead with an extra $25 m.   I told the agent that that wasn’t going to work!  I was then put on hold, and a few minutes later, he said, “How about $100 total off of your bill?”.  I wasn’t going to argue at that point, but having paid $400 for the night without water seems a bit ridiculous.

I want to explain that I didn’t need just a hotel room to sleep in. I needed a room to shower in so that I could continue back to the auto show to fulfill my obligations as a partner - dealer principal of two dealerships.
I’m assuming this information will help so that you can adequately adjust my stay to compensate for the lack of benefits your hotel should have properly given me.
I await your reply on how I can move forward with my review on Google and Yelp.  We want to consider your hotel-casino again for future endeavors.

It's a decent casino to go to. Been going there for years whenever we are in town. It's always been hard to win there but the past few years the payouts have been terrible. Was there this past weekend and it was absolutely brutal. The slot machines were so tight. Free spins and bonuses were few and far between. Then when you did get one you wouldn't hit anything. It wasn't just me. The same thing was happening to everyone. This was probably the last time I'll step foot in that casino. There are two others very close. I think it's time to give them a chance.

I Love staying at this hotel, I have been a guest at least once a month for the last 2 years. As normal it is clean and makes you feel secure while there. This is the first time in over the 2 years that I was on a floor where there were young people up and yelling in the hallway most of the night. If not for that, as usual you get all 5s.

Friendly service, well appointed rooms and plenty of space to gamble. Revel Steak House is very pricey and mid tier dining options are limited. Location is not ideal if you want to walk to Downtown Detroit but they do offer a shuttle for sports events and parking is free which is a nice perk. We enjoyed our stay.
