We've have been to at least 6 Caesars properties and this one we were positively surprised about. We read a lot of very mixed reviews, so we were a bit nervous.
The building is older, not fancy and we were told that the planned updates and construction was postponed till next year.
There is no Valet parking, but the garage is convenient and the Skywalk makes it quick and easy to get to the building.
The small lobby has a little seating area and two computers with complimentary video games for kids.
The staff was extremely nice, welcoming and professional! The lady Manager (sorry, I forgot your name) and Willi were super helpful and went above and beyond for our needs and to help with the beginning key card issues that were eventually resolved.
The Casino is just a very short walk from the lobby and we very much were surprised and happy about the extra security measures the put in place there. It is pretty small, but has a good mix of variety in slot games.
Our host Anthony was very helpful and attentive and the bar service at the Laurel Lounge was terrific!
We will definitely back here and can't wait for the updates to be finished.

What a fun place. It's not much different from other casinos which gives the place a familiar feel right off the bat. Nice staff, clean and bright facilities.|I stuck mostly to the 15-50 cent machines, but they were just as fun as all the others.|And one of my 15 cent pulls got me $17. 🙂 That paid for lunch.|I had the meatloaf plate at the Cross Street Grill. Very nice. :)|Next time I want to try the Mexican food at Tortazo. (closed Mon & Tue).|I will probably reserve "The Reserve" for a special occasion or the day I make a big win. But it sure looks good.|I had a fun day.

My last stay in October 2024 was terrible but I love the Harrah’s Casnio so I was up to giving it another shot! I just recently stayed December 23rd through the 24th which I was suppose to stay for 4days but with everything I just wanted to go home. When I first got to the room, I always check everything! Went to open the dresser where the refrigerator is to put my little things up(Milk was one of them)And the fridge was not cool or cold at all.It was very old and seem as if it had give out! And it was turned up all the way. And the part was it was sitting on looked like termites destroyed it! I called the front desk to make them aware of it. She sent housekeeper up and she said she was going to go ahead and change it out! And she seemed agitated. She left and come back with the head of housekeeping and another lady. So it was three ladies in my room total. Mind you I was only in my room not even 30 minutes and I seen a spot on the other clean bed that was not touched at all. And it looked like a blood stain so I asked what was that?! And she said I haven’t been here in this room I don’t know smartly and I replied well I just checked in, why is there a blood like stain on the bed. She said she would change it and took the top off and replaced it!. The other two ladies put the new fridge in and vacuum the debris from the faulty stuff coming off the dresser at the bottom. And they left. I got two queen beds because my youngest would sleep on the other bed and me and my guest would sleep on the other queen. As soon as they left maybe 20 minutes later I see something crawling on my pillow. It was a bedbug. I immediately called downstairs to speak to the front desk and she didn’t lack any empathy or apologize so I said you not going to apologize or ask if I’m okay anyone get bite or anything she replied I have a guest in front of me just come down with your belongings. I come down and she said she was going to switch me to a premium room and that’s it. She switched me from 717 and she switch me to 905 and sent me on my way. I had came back downstairs after like two hours. And I saw the supervisor and she asked what was wrong and I told her my experience which her employee didn’t even tell her about it! She apologized immediately and said she was going to take care of me! Which I was already switched and she said she will give me a recovering comp. And then she made sure I was okay and didn’t get bitten and asked was everybody else okay any medical attention and I declined. So my thing was if her employee didn’t follow protocol they would’ve put somebody else in that room! The supervisor made it okay because she had empathy and take the proper steps to handle me and the situation. I was suppose stay for four days but I checked out the next day! Again I was drained again Harrah’s has dropped the ball and I hate to write a complaint and bad review but hopefully this issue gets resolved with the workers and how they treat the guest and get proper retrained

Well let's start I showed up 15 minutes early and they were going to charge me $15 to check in or early so I waited they locked my luggage up I came back 30 minutes later and then I had a bag of drinks missing so 10 minutes later they showed up someone brought them by so someone stole them that worked there and then they gave them to me I had snacks and drinks I did not trust and I did not know why they took these drinks so later on my brother goes down to get a couple of diet Cokes and he could get the elevator to work he kept trying and the front desk would not help him he was there 10 15 minutes and he tried to do it for times he finally I went down there use my key card of course at work but staff refused to help him needless to say I don't know if I will stay at this property again the bedroom linen and sheets did not smell fresh or clean like they've been sitting for a few months

The room was filthy when we walked in they didn’t offer to clean the room. We stayed two nights and they wouldn’t even clean the room. Then this the second day it was like spending a lot lot of money for a room that should’ve cost 50 bucks a night, but the people were nice, but the rooms were dirty.

The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we entered Joliet, there was road construction everywhere. We arrived at Harrah’s where there are 2 entrances. Both have escalators immediately ahead. No signage for the hotel check in desk anywhere.. Turns out that you need to go to the 2nd floor for the hotel desk (entering from the first entrance).
We check in and have to give a “amenities fee” if $75 in a credit card for things you might purchase. They don’t tell you that there is automatically a $17 charge to the card for breathing.
Next we try to go to dinner at the grill. However, the only entry without a gambling stamp was to walk around the entire floor just to enter where we started. We later learned that the guard could have just stamped our hand and let us walk through the gate.
We requested a microwave for our room. The website says it’s $10. In actuality it’s $11. After the $17 amenities fee +taxes, it came out to a microwave for nearly $30 for some popcorn.
We will never go back! We had been there years ago and everything was great. Harrah’s has really gone downhill!
This was a holiday getaway. The Rialto show was great! But everything involving the hotel sucked!

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Just ask they will get the answer the area around the hotel made me a little uncomfortable, but I’m a small town guy who was in a big city. The whole hotel smelled a little of smoke, but I got used to it all in all a good experience.

Been coming here for 30 years and it still looks mostly the same. Enjoyed the new taco place, which replaced the buffet.
