I grew up in SLO so I've been to this location more than a few times.

These guys are really efficient in how fast they handle your questions and answers and scheduling vaccinations, scans, etc. My family and I have long-known the secret fact that going to this location was often faster (and cheaper!) than going to our primary care practitioner for such things.

Their front desk is really quick to answer the phone and I've only been put on hold in the past year due to... well, the coronavirus of course. Depending on your insurance situation, you may even be able to get all your vaccinations updated in the same day you walk up to their desk, and for free. Ask them first.

I also got my TB test, TB Lung X-Rays, and antibiotics all prescribed and given to me from this location nearly 10 years ago.

My husband and I received our first Covid vaccines at Cuesta College. We both were very impressed with the friendly and kind staff members and the efficiency of the entire process. Thank you, SLO County Health Dept. for your professional expertise.

I attended the vaccine event for my first dose yesterday held at the Arroyo Grande South County Regional Center. The friendly staff and volunteers made for a very efficient and enjoyable experience. I tip my hat to the SLO Health Dept...well done!

Had to get my TB test for an employer and the staff and nurses were very friendly. In and out in 10 minutes.

Ignore the 1 star voters, these are all troll accounts made my someone who has nothing better to do with their time.

Honestly, they all need training and re-education. I spoke to 3 different people who couldn't explain why their website says they take medi-cal, cen-cal and medi-care yet they don't take medi-cal and it's for older people? When I explained the difference between the 3 insurances the "manager" was began listing places I should check instead as she was too confused to make the appointment and "policy" says they can't take payments nor can they explain who is and who isn't allowed to get their child's shots. It was crazy this is their job yet they do not know the difference between Medicare and Medi-Cal....I had to slowly explain to her the difference. All in all instead of listening to understand my questions and help with a solution they were busy trying to make excuses that sounded less ridiculous than the one they used before. Any who luckily I record all my conversations that pertain to medical treatments and will be submitting a formal complaint : )

The Tobacco Cessation program has been an incredible help to me. Not just the NRT they provide, but especially Nasseem's enthousiasm and knowledge plus everybody in the group showing their vulnerability. If you REALLY want to quit smoking for good I HIGHLY recommend this program !

The staff at Public Health are very dedicated and helpful whenever there is an emergency or possible emergency that may affect the community. We are fortunate to live where the Public Health staff are willing to make the effort to keep us safe.

Why are our 2 towns adjacent to us requiring masks & we are not required? Especially since more cases of Covid here just spiked! I do not feel safe at all!! Not anywhere but home! I’m high risk & scared.
