Wonderful staff, amazing hotel, and delicious restaurants. If you come here Monday - Thursday, the hotel seems pretty dead, but anytime during the weekend they have events and different tiny shops open.

All casino staff were very nice. No free drinks to my knowledge, and this is a smoking free casino.

It's a beautiful place. But coming off as a higher end resort and spa it's more like just a casino with a hotel that charges a lot.
I'm not impressed enough to come back and stay here again. Especially for what they charge. I have tried to contact them they charged us double for the same room same night no one's getting back to me it's frustrating.
Make sure to check your charges.
We're not the only people this happened to.

Front desk staff was very apathetic and sometimes rude. Rooms were in need of upkeep - wallpaper peeling in bathrooms, shower heads needed cleaning (so water didn't spray in random directions), marks on walls and even a shoe print on the ceiling. Food in all the restaurants was very average and overpriced, but service was good. The indoor pool was drained and not available during my 4-night stay.

It was ok. It was clean. No issues here. I was irritated that they didn't have vending machines anywhere on the property so I had to walk to a nearby hotel to get chips after everything else was closed. The art was beautiful and I enjoyed looking around the halls.

Buffalo Thunder in Santa Fe, New Mexico was a FABULOUS stay! Absolutely loved the confort and ease at this resort! Beds were AMAZING, Casino on site was so much FUN! Pools and hot tubs were clean and very spacious! Thia resort has everything! Restaurants, casino, bars, or peace and quiet. You choose! Cost was about $269/night but it was completely worth it. The room was clean and quiet. The staff did a great job refreshing the room while I was gone. I did not get to experience much of the resort aspect of this hotel, but being collocated with the casino and restaurants was nice. Since there were no concerts or events while I was there it didn't seem very busy. Starbucks in the lobby area was limited, but fast. The only negatives I had were the lack of complimentary breakfast, pocked concrete near the outdoor pool, and limited options for dinner.

We didn't visit the casino, just stayed at the resort for one night as we were passing through the area. Used digital key, which worked perfectly. We had a balcony room, we really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony watching the rain. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We grabbed a couple of sandwiches from The Pueblo Deli and brought them back to our room. Experience there was a bit sub-par. Sandwiches come with chips, the employee working there didn't ask what kind of chips we wanted, just gave us plain and we made him swap them for our preferred flavors. We ordered a couple of cookies as well, they had white chocolate macadamia in the case, our favorite. Returned to our room to find the employee gave us peanut butter. I regret the 25% tip I gave him for his crappy service.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit and plan to return for a longer stay in the near future.

Don't waste your time or money. Really, all the restaurants aren't good. Golf course is the best part of the casino. Casino doesn't have craps. Not much tables really.
Rooms have ice boxs.
