I go to this casino pretty frequently. The place is small which makes it a very friendly experience. You get to know all of the dealers and bosses. The better part is they take the time to remember your name and the games you like to play. Everyone is willing to help you with any games you play and make sure you understand it completely. The food is excellent and fairly priced. This would absolutely be five stars however they recently moved my favorite dealer! Paco always brings a great energy and liveliness to the room! He was someone I purposely went to sit down with even if it wasn’t really my game. An all around phenomenal guy and makes the experience so much more enjoyable from the second you walk through the door. I have other dealers I enjoy as well but something is missing without him on the table side. You can always hear Paco and how encouraging and boisterous he is. He makes the whole experience all around more fun! I’m sorry to see that he has gone over to the poker side because he can’t be his big energetic self over there. Please bring Paco back! For the sake of all of us who love the guy! It’s just not the same feel when you walk through that door.

Well, run room with about 17 poker tables. Probably the best view in all of California overlooking Ventura’s beach and Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands on clear days!

Multiple Great small No Limit games like1/2 and 2/3 with usually one 2/5 or larger each day. fantastic food, service, and good food availability.

Always a good place for us to eat, night or day. Many choices that we love here. I’d come back on the sweet potato fries with ranch alone. All the servers are quick and kind. They even sell Pho too but there is a certain time for it. Also there is an age limit due to the casino. I highly recommend this place and it’s late night operating hours.

The staff knows the meaning of service. They're very courteous even when people are drunk, which doesn't happen that often. They handle disagreements professionally, and with courtesy. Plenty of parking since it's part of the Ventura fairgrounds. Right across the street from the train station, where the Pacific Coast liner runs.

Went on Memorial weekend Saturday night technically around 10:30. The first floor was the “horse track racing” section so figured this was the Derby Room, it had CRT tv’s and a very old school decor. The casino was on the second floor, the vibes were as dead as can be. The poker room was active but it had ZERO energy. The other side of the casino was also lacking flavor and was super dead. After a few hands I left. I would recommend not visiting unless you really have to gamble and guarantee you want to lose.
