We went here a couple years ago and never got a chance for a review. I did however read a lot of reviews prior to writing this one now. Just reading the owners responses to some of these bad reviews is enough to give this place one star. This owner is basically saying good luck going somewhere else to be at a casino. Instead of fixing the problems or giving these customers something to be encouraged about, they are being "shown the door" instead. When we stayed there at the hotel, and then played at casino both slot games and poker tables, we thought the whole place was underwhelming in general.

I would give this place several negative stars if i could!! My husband and I were at Oxford Casino Sat Jan 11, 2025. We have been going here since it opened in 2012 and go several times a year. We went to the Ox Pub for dinner and then headed to the casino to do some gambling. We entered the casino around 9:30 and everything was great for several hours and then this is where things went south. My husband had won a substantial amount at the roulette table and they proceeded to close that table and move him and another player to another table. I joined them and was playing with them when my husband hit another substantial amount. We were waiting to be paid when I was approached by 2 security guards telling me I had to leave because I was showing signs of intoxication. We asked them what signs I was showing and they refused to answer. I had not had a drink in over 2 hours, was not slurring my words or causing a scene, I was simply standing at the roulette table. We never left the casino after we entered to drink alcohol anywhere else so if they thought I was intoxicated that is on them and they overserved me. My husband and I got our chips after being paid and went to cash them out while the 2 security guards stood and watched, then escorted us to the elevators. We went to our room and about 30 min later 3 police officers and the 2 security guards came pounding on our door. The whole time neither my husband or I got angry, raised our voices or caused a scene. You could tell the police officers were completely confused why they were even there. The security guards at Oxford Casino treated me like a complete criminal for no reason and I believe it was because my husband was winning too much money and they didn't want to kick him out and make it obvious so they targeted me! We will never go back after this horrible experience!!

when you can't have two beers while having lunch or dinner, is it a real depressing little issue? if you would think during a meal you'll be able to have more than two beers. but no they enforce the half an hour rule. just shake my head in disgust

Very clean and we'll lit. Machines were all in working order and easy to use. My wife and I went on a Saturday mid-morning. Table games were busy but not full. 3 roulette tables up and running.
Very exciting atmosphere with chances to win money everywhere! We went in w $300 and spent a few hours gaming. We enjoyed beer and cocktails. (Which we paid for out of the original $300) We also played slots and a few table games. We left with $100. A very affordable adult experience for sure.
Good security, friendly staff and the restrooms were top notch. Very enjoyable experience, we will be back.

Took my daughter there for her 21st birthday. She was looking forward to it for over a month. She showed them her driver's license , they told her that she needed two forms of ID because she was under 36 years of age. I said to them there is nothing on the website about this. The man said it's right here on the sign. So you don't know about this dumb ASS rule until you are ready to walk into the casino. This Place sucks. Do not recomend.

I had the inclination to gamble this evening, but as soon as the security at the door spoke to me, that inclination was gone. As a middle-aged man with plenty of grey hair. I didn’t get stopped for ID in Vegas, Reno, or even an Indian one in NY last year. Then he has to read out my name to me “Ok Mr. XX have a great time”. It was just all around an unnecessary and unwanted social interaction and it deterred me from even grabbing a drink.
In the future I’ll gamble somewhere that has more respect for their guests, even if it’s out of state (and I live nearby).

1/1/2025- Went here with my parents but since I am only 20 years old, me and 2 other accompanying people with me, also 20 yrs olds, sat in the lobby while they were playing games. After not even 5 minutes in the lobby, we saw a security guard scope out the area specifically where we were sitting (in the lobby before the 21+ security). The security then went to my parents and told them that we can’t be sitting out in the lobby unless we were over 18? Completely unacceptable and unnecessary. Also, we drove hours to this location and I am unable to use the restroom? I do not recommend this place.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK THAT NOBODY WALKED AWAY AND LEFT MONEY ON THE SLOT MACHINES BEFORE SITTING DOWN TO PLAY OR THEY WILL TRY AND PRESS CHARGES, absolutely disgusted at the way they treated my elderly disabled family member after he played on a machine and didn’t realize someone left money on it supposedly. Yet they wouldn’t show them the cameras or anything for proof?
He was escorted out and is not allowed back, to which none of us want to go back now anyways. Got a call today saying the police would put a warrant out if it isn’t paid by 5pm tomorrow. Absolutely appalled and my poor family members been embarrassed so much by this incident and how the casino is handling it. How they are capable to do this is beyond me. I really hope this never happens to anyone else.
