This casino has seen better days. Overall vibe is dark, depressing and run down. Lots of machines and tables. Elderly crowd. Several restaurants.

The Big Easy used to be Mardi Gras. Today it has some updating such as the new area bakery/deli. It is a hot place for Poker Players and offers free Valet. The slot machines are varied. Promotions require points to earn. It has a friendly little back bar. The grill seems inconsistent as to when it is open. Overall, it is a bit gloomy. We remember the days of showgirls welcoming at the door and free beads.

Don't be tricked by their commercials. They advertise a good time, new slot games and happy people. With the exception of maybe 8 new slots, everything else is old. The people gambling seemed to be people that shouldn't be, likely using money that is for necessities. Tip to those players, hitting or yelling at the machine isn't going to help you win. The place is overall very depressing and much like it was when it was called Mardi Gras. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Poker. There are no strong players in tournaments, so it’s not difficult to win something. Cheapest place in the state for tournament poker so have reasonable expectations (dealers can't count, floras break every possible rule, chairs aren't the most comfortable, tables are the oldest in the country). But once again, you can win something even without being a pro. The most important thing is a family atmosphere - a minimum of aggression, pleasant conversation, etc.

The Big East Casino has a nice mix of new and older slot machines which we like. There is also a large card room and several good dining options.

Big Easy use to be great. In the last couple of months has become a RIP OFF! The casino itself is ok, but the food is seriously robbery. The wings are half the size they use to be. The drinks are a joke! $17.50 for a draft beer and wel vodka. We spent $70.00 for wings, chili fries and a Philly cheese sandwich. Been coming here for a couple of years and the managers could care less about their customers. I'll go to Gulf Stream or Calder before I go there again.

Ground floor casino with slots and lots of poker tables. The casino has great food and cocktails plus beer on tap. They have a open network with horse racing on multiple screens that you can wager on.

This casino is simple and friendly, not alot of hype or flair.

The staff is very nice and they are cool with dogs if you have one. As long as it behaves.

Middle class to very wealthy clientele frequent this place and it use to be a greyhound dog racing facility, track and all.
