Product fine as always, lines full of items but the cash register is the worst service. Register are always closed only 1 o 2 cashier and the self service cash register never works, those self service cash registers are always out of service and the cashier’s manager the most lazy people I have seen in my entire life.

Subpar shopping experience every visit. Escalators are constantly out of service. Shopping carts are rarely available.. leaving customers on a frenzy to search for a cart.
The staff are very chatty with one another and rude. To top it all off... products are constantly out of stock or discontinued at this small BJs. I think it's the smallest BJs in the vicinity.

I'm going to start going to the Palisades location. Cleaner, less people, carts are always there and staff that have integrity about their job performance.

Horrible experience from start to finish. Elevator broken so we were all stuck in it for about 5-10 minutes. Extremely dangerous and no signage.

This location is a lot smaller than the Costco on 117th Street but because this is right off the 1 train at 238 it's just way more convenient to shop here especially for a single person to carry just a few things on the train or bus. I just went to get some snacks but someday when I get back into exercising this will be my go to spot for the individually wrapped Purdue preseasoned chicken breast slices! This is my second time there and I was just blown away at how amazingly friendly the staff is at this location. I had great encounters with the security on the way in...because I didn't see the hours posted anywhere. Then several of the staff around the aisles and the stock guys were knowledgeable and helpful. The biggest wow moment came on my way out when the security guy at the checkout/exit checked my bag and he said "so you're a freelance photographer" I said well kind of I've been out the game, you know fell off the horse and just trying to get back on it, and he replied "you'll get back on!" Wow just so encouraging I really appreciated that. Now back to the products, I was also nicely surprised and impressed that this location has an ETHNIC aisle! They have done a great job of making the local Dominican community feel acknowledged and included as to say "we're here for the entire neighborhood so.......come on down! Literally, it's in the basement. I'll definitely be returning on a regular basis get that protein intake up.

Escalator is always broken on one side. All four elevators are never operating at the same time so there is always line to get upstairs. Items are always hit and miss one day they will be in stock next day empty. So please buy when you see it. A lot of the staff are very friendly and helpful others just collecting a check ask them for something the attitude off the chain. Again not all..

Elevators are horrible, this past Friday Dec 15th the line of people waiting to leave with shopping carts was all the way back to the cashiers. Myself and other shoppers carried our groceries up the escalators then walked outside and up the ramp to our cars!!!! Only 2 elevators working!!!

Poorly managed and the worse BJs Store I have seen. The escalators are always turn off and only 1-2 elevators working. Disaster and lawsuit waiting to happen!
After paying, big lines to exit the store.

>>2024 WARNING<< Customer Beware: 1) Has everybody noticed BJ's has been raising their prices so much that now it's equal to or past your local supermarket prices? This is why 90% of BJ's stock item expiration dates are approximately 2 to 3 weeks (Lysol can are 4 months old pass expiration date see photo below), customers are shopping less there. Supermarket regular stock item expiration dates are about a month or more due to customers shopping there more often. Do the research yourself and do a comparison. Word of advice to BJ's Management, apparently according to your reviews the majority are complaining about your expiration dates too, therefore lower your prices by 30% if the expiration date is less than two weeks. 2) BJ's will NOT let you buy more than one item if it's on sale. Costco, Sam's Clubs, Walmarts, Target, and other Supermarkets let you buy more than one item if it's on sale, therefore BJ's sucks. 3) BJ's to this date treats us customers like Senior Citizens, making us use their booklet discount coupons and wasting our time online searching for coupons instead of having their discount automated at the register just like they do in Costco, Sam's Club, and all Supermarkets.
